Saddleback Worship Pastor Rick Muchow called in April, 2000 with a simple request. “I know we’re not fully copyright compliant, but we don’t know where to begin. Can you help us?”
Christian Copyright Solutions started in 2001 as Church Copyright Administration (CCA) by helping churches like Pastor Rick Warren’s 25,000-member Saddleback Church. Our church client base grew so much that in 2005, we began developing a custom online application to automate and streamline the labor-intensive copyright clearance process for our staff and clients. CopyrightSolver™ was launched in April, 2006 and immediately allowed our client base to expand and grow beyond the church walls, providing solutions for camps, ministries, producers, studios, media directors and indie artists/songwriters with copyright needs.
To reflect the expansion of our services, CCA changed its name to Christian Copyright Solutions in fall 2008. We’re still helping Saddleback Church, and we’d love to assist you.
