The CCS Leadership Team is passionate about serving the Christian community in honoring the authors of creative works by promoting and facilitating copyright compliance. Although they are diverse in experience, skills and backgrounds, they are unified in their commitment to blend the heart of servants and ministry with the excellence of innovative business practices.
Susan Fontaine Godwin
Chief Vision Officer/Founder
Susan is an educator and long-time member of the Christian Arts community with 24 years experience in the music industry, church copyright administration and copyright management. As CVO, Susan’s role is to create and communicate CCS’s vision for innovative information technology, management and solutions and to steer its course into the future, as well as integrate the vision with the organization’s core beliefs and values.
Her mission is to help Christians become fully copyright compliant through online administration, consultation & education. Her vision is to build digital bridges between copyright owners and users, and to collaborate with strategic allies to develop simple solutions for complex copyright issues. She is affectionately known as the Copyright Queen.
Susan presents seminars and has written three books on copyright compliance, publishing and creative planning. She was Music Administration Manager for Integrity Inc. for 11 years before starting Righteous Oaks Music, Inc. in 1995. Susan serves on Worship Leader magazine's editorial board and has served as Information Chairperson and Executive Committee member of CMPA (Church Music Publishers Association).
One of her favorite scriptures is Ephesians 1:17-23. "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe."
Gary Godwin
VP of Client Relations
Gary is entrusted with cultivating and maintaining positive client relationships.
Gary offers more than 35 years experience in communications, public relations and marketing. His role involves active participation with clients in the form of consultation and education about the products and services provided by CCS.
A graduate of the University of South Alabama with a BA in Communications, Godwin has served in numerous leadership positions with professional, religious and community organizations. The father of 24-year-old son, Matthew, Gary is married to CCS Founder Susan Fontaine Godwin.
Gary’s favorite scripture is Luke 6:36… “Be merciful just as your Father is merciful.”
Alison Richardson
Chief Financial Consultant
Alison is the Strategic Financial Planning adviser for CCS, working with the company in all areas of finance, operations and budgeting.
Alison worked in public accounting with Pannell Kerr Forester, a regional CPA firm,
before working with Integrity Music for 14 years, where she served as CFO, overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, copyright and royalty finances, human resources and product distribution. Alison is a graduate of the University of South Alabama.
Alison says she has numerous meaningful scriptures, but her favorite work scripture is Proverbs 14:23. “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”
Tim DeVore
Chief Strategic Consultant
Tim focuses on CCS strategic and financial planning, production and operations quality control, staff and human resources training, and management development.
Tim has served as several business companies’ President and Consultant/Executive Coach for more than 35 years. As a TEC (The Executive Committee) Chairman, he has conducted more than 1,700 coaching sessions with company Presidents and CEOs, facilitating more than 200 all-day planning/training/problem solving sessions. He has had more than 650 hours of classroom training in coaching and meeting facilitating skills.
“It is very rewarding to see CEOs and Presidents become better managers with clearer strategic vision,” Tim reflects, “while mapping out and executing thoughtful exit-strategies, and developing more balanced and rewarding lives.”
Tim has a BA in Economics and an MBA. He has served as an Air Force Officer, trained Mediator, President/CEO of his own company, Consultant/Coach, and College Adjunct Instructor in Business.
Tim’s favorite scripture is Joshua 24:15 ... “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
